About Us
Duiske College, founded in 1954, is a co educational secondary school under the auspices of Co. Kilkenny VEC, now KCETB (Kilkenny Carlow Education and Training Board). It is situated on the border of Carlow and Kilkenny, in the centre of medieval Graignamanagh close to historic Cistercian Duiske Abbey.
As a community of learning, Duiske College promotes respect, fairness and honesty in a safe, caring, inclusive environment, which facilitates high quality teaching and learning where the personal development and dignity of each person is fostered. Students are challenged to aspire to excellence and to reach their potential in everything they do.

Code of Behaviour
Duiske College prides itself on the quality of relationships between students and staff. Within this context Duiske College’s first instinct is to praise and reward students who reach the positive behaviour standards we wish for.
An important part of the school’s Code of Behaviour is the effort made to acknowledge the good behaviour of our students Primarily, the individual teacher praises and affirms good behaviour and constantly liaises with Class Teachers, School Management and the Student Support Team to appropriately reward and highlight incidents of good behaviour.
